Picture the scene : I own a barber shop a little further up the road on Palmeira square, I have a new customer about to come in, Im cleaning my station trying to make it look as presentable as possible when suddenly the lens of my glasses falls outnightmare. I am completely blind without my glasses and I definitely would not want to attempt a haircut without them! So I ran down the road, glasses and lens in hand to Taylor-West & Co and I explain my situation, within 5 minutes they had fitted my lens back in with a new screw, gave me another new screw AND cleaned my lenses for me! The best part is they wouldnt accept any money for it even after Id offered to pay! Absolutely 5 star service, thank you so much again for saving the day!

The five stars I have awarded are well deserved. Staff at both Brighton and Hove branches are extremely patient, helpful and knowledgable. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

I have been a patient of Taylor West & Co for 8 years and the care, service, range and quality of finished specs is second to none. Sophie and Eileen plus the team are all fantastic and I would not go anywhere else. I have a super high prescription so high street opticians struggle to get the accuracy. I also love the fact you get specs that not many others will have as frames are often rarer or exclusive. They also look after my daughters (11 yo) needs and have given her stylish corrective specs so that she wont have the same bad eyesight I do (only possible due to Sophies optical proactiveness and experience). Worth checking out their new boutique store in North Laine Brighton to get kitted out in a new style that will get you compliments. Would recommend 100%

Couldnt be happier with the service, my first eye test in a while and I was in extremely safe hands. Very thorough, knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Also a beautiful shop and some incredible frames!
