This place isn't always open (best to schedule a time to see it), but when it is you can get a lift from Marine Parade to Madeira Drive on a truly antique experience. It's remarkable traveling on a lift/elevator that is so old and yet still (occasionally) in use
Just so you are aware (repeating because of the other comments), this place isn't open frequently (without appointments) and so you're best off scheduling an appointment to see it
