We booked here for a convenient pre-theatre dinner based on being highly commended, not least by the Guide Michelin (all be it in 2021!) With that said the overall experience was pretty mediocre. Service slow, the noise horrendous (with staff cleaning and throwing items into the cutlery drawer for 30 mins) and the locals treating the place like it is a bar. As with all things these days, they look great on Instagram and in Google reviews but are sorely lacking in other departments. If there was nowhere else I would go again, but the food was pretty middle of the road. Beyond that it seems like a great place to get smashed.

The place had plenty of free tables but they allowed me to sit only on the counter as I was by myself. I decided to go elsewhere for a better experience.

Still as amazing as ever. Lovely people, great menu and precision cooking that raises the bar and makes our city an even better place to eat. Thank you Flint House.
