Lovely little pub tucked up a side street. Nice traditional decor and atmosphere inside. Enjoyed a drink in here with my family, 5 drinks cost around 26. Can recommend this place for a nice quiet drink.

I went here on a Sunday and it was busy. I decided to have just the Carbonara main with pancetta. I also had a Big Tom tomato spice drink. My find for the day. Definitely going to buy a few more bottles of those from a supermarket. My carbonara was ok. The leeks it was suppose to have were sparse and hard to find. A sort of find the leek in the pasta stack. Service was good albeit a bit slow but to be fair they were busy. I sat inside as outside was full on a lovely sunny day. My main and drink came to just under 13. Lovely, cosy, traditional pub in the Lanes, Great atmosphere and good decor. Has an upstairs room for those who wish to smoke. Only had drinks this time but will definitely be back to try the food.

There is nothing really wrong with this place. The service is good and the serves of food were generous. It just isn't exciting, the decor is dated and there is no wow factor at all. There are other Italian food places in Brighton that are so much better.
