A big thank you to all that you did for my father! Your carers are amazing and they certainly helped raise his quality of life, in their care. It was clear from my observations and from his feedback that he appreciated every moment spent with them. Highly recommended!

We were offered a live in carer to assist with end of life care for my Mother in Law who was desperate to stay in her own home for her last few weeks. Josie at the Private Care Company did a great job sending us one of their carers to come & look after her. She was full of care and compassion, nothing was too much trouble, and she cared for the whole family, not just her client. We would no hesitation in recommending this company. Keep up the good work.

The PCC cared for a relative during her last year. Despite all the difficulties facing such companies at present they were flexible and understanding when we delayed our start date. The carers were always professional, kind and caring to the whole family. At one time our relative had a fall and the carer stayed on way beyond her time until I was able to relieve her. This is a well organised firm with very high standards and I would fully recommend them.

I was due to start having a live in carer from this agency and they carried out their assessment this morning and were due to visit to do their risk assessment this afternoon. What this care agency says about their service provided on their website requires a lot of changing because I received a telephone call from them to advise me that they couldnt provide me with a live in carer and the only reason is because I am a smoker. They either dont have the carers available but surely it should be up to the carer whether they mind working in a smoking environment or the carer themselves might smoke and are glad to be working in an environment where they can smoke. Many elderly people chose live in care over going into a care home so that they can continue smoking in their own home. This company talk about keeping someone in their own home as long as the client wants and talks about choice. When it comes to the client smoking there is no choice when it comes to them smoking cigarettes and I will be reporting this to the CQC as I believe that this goes against many laws including the care act which talks about client choice. I am also going to report them to FORREST and other agencies. I dont know of any other care agency that doesnt allow a client to smoke in their own home so theyre whole website and no doubt their brochure needs rewritten.
