Hove Polyclinic

Hove Polyclinic sent an appointment to my deceased mother five months after she died. Her GP says this should not happen if the clinic had followed procedures correctly. When I phoned the number, which was the only number, on the appointment letter there was a recorded message saying that enquiries about appointments would not be handled at that number and that I should instead phone the number on the appointment letter, even though I was already calling that number. The Polyclinic has not replied to two emails asking them to make sure they do not offer any more appointments to my late mother.

I wish I could rate this place higher. Ive been to a lot of hospitals & clinics and Hove Polyclinic blows the rest out of the water. The layout is intuitive and accessible to me. The staff are kind. In all my visits I dont think Ive ever had to wait more than 45 minutes - even for an x Ray. The seating is well spaced and every clinician Ive seen wears a mask- while also making me feel safe and welcome. Im immensely grateful to this clinic and would recommend it to anyone in the area - especially those with kids, health anxiety, older family, or complex needs. The atmosphere is the calmest Ive experienced in any medical building. I wish more clinics, hospitals, and surgeries were like this.

A 25 40-mile round trip on trains, taxis and buses was a very brief ultrasound scan. Can't really fault the staff but just had a feeling of being all a bit rushed. I was only in the room five mins when it said on my form 15 minutes to an hour. A good place though. Staff were fairly friendly.
