Not a very good experience at all. The receptionist staff were nice and explained it would be a two hour wait (in which it was) and were very understanding. However, the doctor I had was rude and very dismissive. She spoke over me and wouldnt let me explain where I felt the pain. I have never experienced anything like it before. I had gone in after a fall on my knee cap I was in a lot of pain. I was referred by my physio who suspected I had a potential patella fracture. I understand they dont do x-rays at the walk in but I am at university in Brighton and far away from home and was hoping to be seen so I could be suggested the best next step to solve my injury as I was hoping it wasnt a fracture. She said to me that I shouldnt go to ane as I would annoy them because the injury had happened a few days prior to my appointment but theres definitely an injury there. Considering I was in extreme pain and couldnt put any weight on my knee cap I was made to feel like I shouldnt have been there. I was told because Im young and healthy I would be fine. Then was told but apart from that theres not much I can do for you and wasnt even shown out of the room. She returned to her desk and said no more so I left on my own accord. For me personally going to the walk in by myself was a hard thing to do for my anxiety but I did it and I was made to feel very stupid and wouldnt go there again.

Receptionists are lovely. The doctor I saw on the other hand was terrible. He made me feel like I was a child.. berated me for not taking pain meds for my illness (didn't even know my history) asked me a bunch of rushed questions while he took my vitals. I honestly could not even thing properly. He made my anxiety go through the roof. After waited over an hour he saw to me for 5 minutes prescribed antibiotics and sent me home.. only to tell me "if you feel you're throat closing up go to A&E" urrrmmm excuse me sir thats why I came because of that exact reason. I've never had an issue with doctors here if anything they've always been more than happy to help. Never will I go again

I went to the clinic today as soon as it opened in the morning, the receptionist was polite and welcoming. I was seen within 30 minutes, the man who treated me was kind and funny, I was dreading going but Im very glad I went! Its great Brighton has a place like this :)
