We had a fantastic stay at the Woods and Meadow campsite. The facilities are rustic and very functional. On arrival we were greeted by the warden, who was really helpful and friendly. The meadow is truly beautiful. Definitely worth the walk to the New Inn, amazing food, staff and affordable prices. We will be returning!!!!

We had a wonderful long weekend at the site near Hastings. The site was amazing and so idyllic. The owners are so friendly and helpful. We went for the bell tent and camping bed option which was bigger that I expected and the camp beds were surprisingly very comfortable (we had a quilt under and a quilt over). The toilets, showers and washing up area are all eco and chemical free, there was always plenty of hot water. You can hire a fire pit and buy logs. We'll be back! Thank you

An absolutely brilliant weekend! From the moment we arrived our hosts Jules and Tizz made us feel incredibly welcome and worked incredibly hard to settle us in and get our tent set up. The campsite itself is in a beautiful secluded spot and given that it was full, didnt feel at all busy. Toilets and showers were clean and in working order throughout the weekend. Our friends and their families all had a brilliant time. Will hopefully be back. If youre looking for a fun and friendly camping experience - Jules and Tizz will sort you right out.

The location was very good. Very rural feeling and little to no noise other than the pleasant sounds of nature. The facilities are 'natural', back to basics style which I liked, but isn't to everyones tastes. Long drop toilets, bucket showers etc. Plenty of hand wash stations and also natural/non poluting products were available for use which was good. Some of the staff (ladies) were very friendly but others were not so good at comunicating, to the point of being a little rude and a long way from firendly or welcoming. The bell tents were not good quality for the fees charged. Having been to a number of glamping sites over the last few years, these were the worst. They didn't come with any basic supplies which other site do provide, regardless of covid which can feel like an easy get out of providing a good service at times. The beds were small, the double bed being too small for me at over 6 foot. The stand out worst thing is that the double bed doesn't fit the small bell tent size. The bed was pushed against the side of the tent which led to it being damp. The whole tent was quite damp and dank. There are much better options out there now, offering superior facilities for similar or lower prices. i.e. Fontmills or Wowo both in Sussex. If you're bringing your own tent and like the natural, basic camping style then this may still be for you. If you're looking for something with a little more comfort or style, perhaps not.
