Sam came up with a thoughtful and original design for our new kitchen and utility room projects and even went the extra mile in advising us re decorating ideas. Very glad we went local/independent instead of using Wren. Not bad value considering it is handmade solid wood, not chipboard and plastic.

We engaged John Willies during the first lockdown to design and build a kitchen for our retirement home in Chablis. With a view to bringing it over to France with all our worldly possessions once we had a removal date. From the very first meeting they were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. Long after we had placed the order and paid the deposit we were making major changes as we demolished walls and revealed unknowns. Nothing fazed Joe. I forget the number of times he rang to say Ive been thinking about...... and asking what we thought of some minor change or other. We felt as if he were designing his own kitchen he was so concerned about the details. The kitchen we have ended up with is not the one we initially envisaged. It is far better. We fitted it ourselves and despite the anomalies of an ancient French property it went in like a dream. Thank you Joe and Sam. Our dream kitchen is perfect. Julia and John
