Brighton Girls has been great for our daughter's confidence. She loves going to school again, which is a great start. And she's loving studying a great mix of arts and humanities.

Brighton Girls has changed my Daughter's life around. Being in a school where they focus on each girl being an individual, in a secure, safe setting, enables each child to full fill their true potential. The dedication of all the teachers with their House system with the addition of all the clubs they provide = A winning school! thank you for all you do.

After careful consideration as to where we should send our daughter to secondary school, my husband and I decided on Brighton Girls, and three years later we have not once regretted the decision. Our daughter has taken advantage of all the school has to offer and, it seems like she has a very exciting day, every day. This week, amongst her academic lessons, she has participated in a hockey tournament, been to see a West end production and has rehearsed for a Shakespeare competition. Brighton Girls is a progressive and exciting school that seems to instil confidence and a 'can do' attitude into its students. My daughter is very happy there and that is really what matters.

My daughter was at a GDST school but, as we were moving to Brighton, we needed to find a good alternative. It just so happened this was also part of the GDST family. She was super happy at her previous school so moving during year 10 was a worry for us all. Especially seeing as friendship groups are already established right? I can honestly say I have been nothing but impressed. From the first contact everyone was really helpful and welcoming. My daughter did a taster day and the girls in the year were so friendly and the teachers were both approachable and professional. My daughter has been there now for over 2 months and already, prefers this to her old school (in fact this happened within the first week). She misses her old friends but has made more friends here and more quickly than she did before. I was worried about previous reviews on bullying so asked the school about it before she joined. They said that it had happened in a previous year group but they have changed the way they deal with this and the whole pastoral system (working across year groups now which encourages buddying between year groups). It is clearly something that would not be tolerated now and is taken seriously. My daughter is a bright spark and this school seems to be able to accommodate all girls! She is stretched enough and the teachers are well equipped to support individual needs. My daughter has nothing to say but positive things about both the teachers and pupils. She has only seen positive behaviours and I can honestly say this is the best move that we made. Unlike before, when she was occasionally anxious about going in to school, she goes in no problem! I can breathe!
