Alphastaff

AlphaStaff recruitment agency are unreliable and untrustworthy. They will call you up for available jobs they have going, sometimes even for jobs that will start the next day, then call you again a few hours later saying the position has been cancelled. I don't know who their resources are, but obviously they aren't reliable or organised. The people who worked there seemed kind in person and I don't necessarily think it's their fault, however, whoever is giving them these job opportunities to then offer to you are usually a zero hour contract - which means you might not always be working every week. I know they probably mean well in helping you find work, even if it is cold calling as a charity fundraiser working ridiculously weird/long hours, but they mess you about a bit and hand out your CVs to God knows who. Sorry AlphaStaff, but I would not recommend you to anyone unless you become a bit more manageable and consistent in what you say because it doesn't sound genuine and well grounded.

Don't go with Alphastaff. Simply don't. If you need to find a job google the kind of work in your area and apply directly. Not only will you be earning a better wage(despite what they might tell you) you will also be cutting some very dishonest and greedy people out of your life! I've had a couple of good experiences with Alpha Staff and then one terrible one where they tried to take money off of me for a job that I'd found and applied for myself. Altogether too much grief. I wish I'd known before.
