In 2016, Trave Nation arranged a multi country trip that was originally planned for my partner and myself. He sadly passed away suddenly, a few weeks before we were set to travel. Their compassion and kindness at this time was outstanding. They sprung into action to refund all the expenses and I got every penny back. I didn't have to spend a minute worrying about it and was left to grieve my loss. Some 6 months later, I decided to go it alone. They planned an amazing round the world trip for me with great price points that allowed me to keep the majority of my budget for spending. It was the best decision I ever made. I would 100% recommend Travel Nation.

(Translated by Google) Disappointed with the agency. We first thank Marie for her work on our first galleys: - the first flight of our canceled TDM, which supposedly never happens, but it falls on us which calls the whole TDM ticket into question; Marie was able to find us another flight (with an 8 hour wait in London) - a missed flight following a postponed internal flight (booked outside the TDM ticket); Marie changed our route for us (it was complicated with the 12-hour time difference with Great Britain, despite the call to the emergency line, which preferred that Marie manage the file). For the rest, Travel Nation did not help us much. We had overbooking with Latam, something that is supposedly known with this company, but Travel Nation never informed us of this problem (for information Latam no longer works with Travel Nation). With the TDM ticket sometimes it is possible to register and sometimes not, this was the case for Latam. And despite the fact that we always arrived more than 3 hours before the flight at the airport for international flights and well when we showed up for check-in, only 4 people could board out of 5 (I specify it is my son of 7 years that remained on the floor). The flight was full and everyone had already checked in. We are skeptical. In short, we are waiting in front of the boarding gate and everyone is boarding and there are no more seats. My husband is staying and I am leaving with the 3 children not knowing how he will join me (we had another flight the next day and he could not take the same flight the next day). Finally the hostess finds an arrangement he will take 2 flights and will join us very late in the evening. We ask Travel Nation a few days later if this incident will affect his TDM ticket. No it's fine no problem. For the next TDM ticket, only my 3 children and I had a ticket and the husband's TDM ticket was marked as closed. We were carried around from counter to counter (Latam, Iberia, Latam). We were 5 hours ahead of our flight and the solution was found after 3 hours of waiting with our bags and children who were really fed up. During our exchanges with Travel Nation, they told us that if we had called our referent, she would have given us a number to unlock the ticket. Only we left the country (end of package) and were there for a weekend (our referent does not work on weekends). I doubt the hotline would have found the solution for us. Again I would not take a TDM ticket. We had too many problems that we often solved on our own. Obviously Travel Nation informs us that they are not responsible for other companies, that for the online check-in which does not work it is not their fault, that it is necessary to present yourself at least 2 hours in advance (we were still at the airport at least 3 hours before the flight), that they were unaware of the overbooking (I find it hard to believe), that for them on their system, the TDM ticket for Mr. was not closed (which everyone believe passes the buck). All these problems have disrupted our TDM, and I can tell you that leaving without her husband with her 3 children in a city of high insecurity will remain a traumatic moment for me and my children.

An expensive mistake choosing this company. Too many things went wrong on what should have been a memorable holiday and family reunion in NZ and Malaysia. Inadequate, shabby accommodation for the most part, a promised meet and greet turned out to be a shuttle bus, in one instance, on arrival in Auckland after a long flight the wrong hotel was named in our booking confirmation, and worst of all, a reluctance by the agent and later, the MD, to take ownership for the problems we encountered. Blaming Covid at this present time is simply not acceptable. As B&B owners during those times, we are perfectly aware of how hard these times were. NB To set the record straight, we received a refund of 102 when the cost of our trip was approx. 8500. Three of the hotels selected by Travel Nation over the 18 days were well below standard.
