I have dealt with Pavilion Jewelers quite a few times now. I always deal with Elvis (he is amazing) and I find their service friendly, trustworthy and honest. They made a beautiful trilogy ring from a Diamond my late mum had left to me, I couldn't be happier with the result and the price. I would highly recommend this jewelers if you are looking to buy or get a ring made, they made the whole process extremely easy. Will go to them in the future.

Please avoid this place. I have now found that others have had a similar experience to us. My partner bought my engagement ring here several years ago, at first when my partner went in to buy the ring he said that the service was welcoming and friendly- now we know what they were really interested in, our money! Same as with another reviewer, I had my ring for several months before the main diamond fell out!! We contacted Diamond Pavillion and were told to come in- we live an hour and a half away. We headed down anyway, it was the first time Id been into the shop and I immediately felt that it was all about pushing sales- it was very uncomfortable.Once they realised we were there to complain about what happened with the ring, their attitude towards us quickly changed. I was blamed for not treating the ring correctly..The ring was 4-5 months old and should be designed to last a lifetime. I was always overly careful, taking it off even to shower. After much discussion the shop finally agreed to fix my ring at no charge. A fault developing within 6 months of purchase, is on the retailer to prove that the fault wasnt there when it was purchased. They said that it would take approx 6 weeks to fix and that they would send it, weeks went by and we hadnt heard any news so we emailed. Eventually we received the ring back via post. The fix was shocking, it was off set and the main diamond shadowed the surrounding diamonds so that it looked like stones were missing around it, it was off Center, the claws were really chunky and looked like theyd been soldered-they were all different sizes. We got a second opinion from an independent jeweller and they agreed and said that it was a very very poor repair, it was so disappointing and sad. We planned to go back to shop the following week, in the mean time..two of the smaller diamonds surrounding these main diamond fell out. We returned to Brighton a week after, another hour and a halfs journey. We took the ring in and was met by the owner, I explained everything and asked him to take a look at the ring himself, he was very dismissive and made me feel as if I was being fussy. He even said that the independent jeweller probably lied about the repair being bad as they probably wanted our custom instead. The jeweller was a friend of a friend, you didnt need a special eye to see how bad the repair was- it was there in plain sight. While we were in the shop, I overheard someone else coming in to complain. The owner tried to hurry us along, he said that they would make me a whole new ring setting for my diamond and that it would take another 6-8 weeks, we have all receipts of this and agreed to even though I said I wanted a full refund and was completely entitled to one- he would not back down . He ushered us out, I believe he didnt want us to hear what the other customer had to say. Again, weeks went by and we contacted the shop via email, several emails were sent before finally the ring was ready for me. They send us photos via email and to our shock, the diamond was completely different!!!! A square shaped diamond, my diamond was an emerald cut. We contacted the store immediately and was met with a woman who said that we were being unreasonable and that we had agreed to this. This was completely untrue and quite frankly heartbreaking- this was my engagement ring- where was my original diamond that my partner had chosen and paid for? They said that they would do nothing else going forward. We have now sent letters to try get an independent mediator, we have a case open with trading standards and it looks like we have no choice but to start court proceedings-They have not responded to any recorded letters sent. We have emailed and had one response and they now deny any acknowledgment of my ring, they say that they have closed our case. I have been left with nothing, nothing. Please do not shop here.

At first pavilion diamond were super friendly, professional and we ended up with a beautiful engagement ring! However, after only 6 weeks of having the ring we noticed a stone was missing. We contacted pavilion diamond and they were happy to help...GREAT :)! They fixed it for us but tried to charge a price that was over double what they had quoted us which we were not happy with. In the end we settled on a price and they sent the ring back to us. When the ring returned within 5 HOURS of having the ring back yet ANOTHER stone was missing. Our ring was not cheap and I am supposed to wear this for the rest of my life yet I cant even have it for 3 months without losing multiple diamonds. We contacted pavilion diamond again only to be ignored. A few days passed so we emailed again and we were met with a very sarcastic phone call that was no help at all. We were planning on buying our wedding rings from here too but that will not be happening now. We are now having to find a goldsmith that is happy to help and check all of the claws and stones to make sure that they are fixed into place...which is what pavilion diamond had promised they had done TWICE! My dream was to have an engagement ring from the lanes in brighton and after many trips to and from brighton all the way from Cambridge the dream was made a reality. Now we wish we hadnt bothered.
