The Pain Care Clinic

The Pain Care Clinic has been fantastic in assisting me with a number of different issues and helped me with reducing my tinnitus, stopping completely the recurrent headaches I was having, keeping a very arthritic joint mobile with vastly reduced pain and in resolving lower and upper back pain. Melanie is great at finding the root cause of pain problems and getting effective and long term relief/resolution in a short number of treatments. I have used different approaches to managing my arthritic issue and it was the Pain Care Clinic that really made the difference for me in achieving a much improved quality of life for the longer term. Additionally, the appointments are always punctual and Melanie is professional whilst being friendly and approachable. If you have a chronic condition or shorter term but still painful problem then Melanie at the Pain Care Clinic is definitely worth a visit to seek a solution and I would highly recommend trying out the treatments she can offer.

I see Melanie Smith at The Pain Care Clinic fortnightly for myofascial treatment. I've seen many masseurs and chiropractors over the years but none of them possess such a razor sharp intuition for homing in on the precise point on the body that's causing pain, without even touching you, even though the pain may be felt elsewhere. Whether it's headaches, sore neck, stiff back, aching hips, painful knees etc - she finds it, and fixes it. I rarely suffer from the above any more, because of Melanie, but I continue to see her as it's my fortnightly luxury to myself that I couldn't live without!
