Lovely atmosphere, very accommodating staff especially Francesca, the manager, and the young waiter. The food was absolutely delicious: authentic Italian food with a kick of "Cin Cin" style! Highly recommended! Kid-friendliness: They prepared an amazing handmade fresh pasta for our little one.

Firstly the food was lovely! The managers tone we didnt appreciate, we sat on bar stools over looking bins in the road. Bar stools with no back is a very uncomfortable sitting experience for two hours. I think they need to make customers aware of this, as Ive spoken to people who said they would not want to be sat like this for a 5 course meal. We left after the owner got tried to make a point saying they had been here for 5 years. Surcharge added on, and when I asked to take it off this is when his attitude started (shouldnt have made a difference we had a voucher for the meal or not) I like to make up my own mind on tips. I wouldnt go back due to seating, but food it self was great.

We had a set menu and the food was good- if not slightly overpriced, but I was expecting this as I have been before, chefs are clearly very talented and experienced. Service was okay as well- the staff was attentive despite an obviously busy night. The main issue we had was with the wine pairing: it was clear from the start that the guy knew nothing about wine and would call every white "light and airy" and could only offer "this red will go well with the red meat" but not be able to tell us anything about the wines themselves and sometimes could not even remember the names of the cellars/ grape types. This obviously took away quite a lot from the dining experience, when you are paying nearly as much for the wine as you are for the food. Whilst we understand that not every fine dining restaurant has an in-house somelier, for a set menu well above the range of 100 pounds total, we'd expect to learn at least a little about the wine we were drinking or at least a mention of why it was chosen for the dish.
