AVOID WORKING FOR EVEREST MILES AT ALL COSTS..
Here are few bullet points of my experience & opinion working for Everest Miles for over 3 years on & off after my apprenticeship working as a painter for them...
Treats employees like dirt.
Does not pay on time.
Always missing money from invoices.
Ignores phone calls from myself & other painters when it's pay day.
Always has the following things to say when there is money missing from an invoice that money was taken off for insurance - don't need insurance I'll check with the office - never returns calls or explains when money will be paid.
After year 2 of working for this firm this was how things were left I explained that I had maids knee & that I could not finish the priced work due to having a knee the size of a tennis-ball. Andy at Everest Miles then proceeded to reply right well I don't care I need that unit done by Friday or you can not bother coming back at all - Once I recovered from this injury all invoices & calls were ignored & my tools had all been picked of anything of value.
After a few months away from the firm I got a call from the other Director Ian... things got worse from here.. the third & last time I ever worked for them ended with me falling asleep at the wheel due to being so-so overworked trying to meet there unachievable deadlines.
Over all I hope people read this experience I have had with Andy & Ian at Everest Miles & avoid making the mistakes of working for them. & for the two of you that are reading this you should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves.
