WARNING... do not use Aviva to insure your business. It's taken them 21 months to pay me any Business Interruption and they have not paid what I am legally and contractually owed... effectively "stealing" 93,000 out of my pocket and leaving me riddled with debt. Their complaints handling pro endure is also shambolic. I am now having to enlist the services of a solicitor and barrister in order to get them to pay me what I am owed.

It has just taken 10 weeks to resolve our claim after our was written off in an accident, we were provided with a tiny courtesy car which was no replacement for a family car for 10 days of this, the rest of the time I have been without a car. They and their subcontractor Vizion made mistake after mistake, creating delay after delay. I spent hours every week for 10 weeks calling to try to move things forward. They have now accepted responsibility for some of the delays and offered me 150 in compensation. I find this insulting, I have paid 120 in premiums to insure a car that doesn't exist over this time. I couldn't cancel the policy because of the extortionate cancellation fee and we needed the pay out in order to purchase our new car which we would transfer the policy to. I will never buy Aviva insurance again.
