        Room and location were adequate, as was the food. All the staff I met were friendly, helpful and welcoming. I'm a wheelchair user and reaching my first floor room was a bit like an assault course, negotiating numerous corridors, fire doors and a lift; all quite legal and necessary but intimidating and tiring. Other disabled people might want to know. The car park outside has to be paid for; it's busy throughout the day and overnight, with some double parking. We stayed for two nights and ate at the hotel. I had Moving Mountain Plant-based Burger (9.99) and Pasta Arrabiatta (10.75)

        Walkability: Walking into town is 10 minutes and is a joy. Preston park is across the road from the hotel with a nice cafe. Food & drinks: Good food and price.
