Possibly the worst hotel I have ever been to, rude and most unhelpful staff. With holding a deposit for no reason other than they clearly need the extra money to keep the dated and tired hotel afloat. They have no working landline, no senior staff in on a Friday afternoon other than a young girl who has no idea her left from her right. No ability to help resolve any queries and a complete lack of acknowledgement or people skills they dont respond to messages and are to be complete frank just a incompetent mess

Many cons to very few pros for this "house turned into hotel". The checking procedure was very strange. It had to be done online despite having a person at the reception when we arrived. On top of that, there was a 100 pound security deposit. The room looked like it had been refurbished recently, but it was very small for 2 people. It had wobbly floors, mould on the windows (which didnt quite close completely), scrappy paing...just the overall feeling felt off and a far-cry from the online pictures. The exception was the shower. Felt brand new and nice temperature and pressure. I am getting tired of writing this review. Over 100 for a night without breakfast. Way over priced. Its a place to crash, not a proper hotel. If I return to Brighton I will certainly not be staying there again.
