My Brighton

The hotel is very central, which is handy, but parking expensive at 33/night - although offers a discounted option to use RCP carpark 5 mins away, which cost 15 with a QR code from the hotel reception. Rooms are interesting - style conquered substance though as the light shines in through gaps in the blinds and the noises from the street penetrate the double glazing - plus the bed not that comfortable. On the plus side, the superior room offers an Illy coffee machine but everything else - drinks in fridge, crisps, etc is paid for - check prices on the TV. Also good that you can cast onto the TV and stream your own channels. Breakfast was ok - interesting menu but not the freshest toast, etc. Best thing was super friendly and helpful staff - worst thing - the dumb 6-digit code required to access lifts and room. A lovely little hotel in the heart of Brighton. Quirky rooms with the bed in the middle of the room. (Not for the OCD) Reasonable parking under the hotel and smiling helpful staff. Sorry we kept the bar open so late! Only one regret was the over priced breakfast and getting charged more for a second cup of coffee. Come on team, sort out your priorities.

Really enjoyed this hotel. Decor was very bright and somewhat psychedelic, but actually liked it. Staff were excellent and very friendly. The bar area actually felt like a bar on a night out, and the dining area was more like a caf which is open to customers not just hotel guests. Only reason it's not 5 star is my loo broke. However, it was an excellent hotel and intend on staying here again when I'm next in Brighton
