Sad to say our visit at Ibis Brighton didn't measure up. The room was not properly cleaned and we were missing towels. We payed 40 extra to have our dogs with us for two nights (which is absolutely fair enough) but got the feeling they didn't bother cleaning the room properly since dogs were gonna stay there anyway. Dust under the bed and dirt on the flusher in the bathroom. The location of the hotel is very central, right by the train station and within waking distance to the beach. The hotel itself feels fairly modern and the beds are comfy. Staff were friendly enough. We only used the hotel for sleeping and didn't not have breakfast. It smelled wonderful though.

Ok stay for a brief trip while in Brighton for a conference. Convenient location near the train station but everything is quite basic and I found it quite noisy at times. Lack of plug sockets near the bed was frustrating and the position of the second light switch right behind the mattress seemed odd as it was so easy to knock this when sat on the bed.

Rooms: The room was the main challenge. Although it had all the required amenities, it felt basic and lacking, with not much attention to detail in the cleaning and not much focus on making it a pleasant experience for guests Walkability: The hotel was central and was only a 10 minute walk down to the seafront and a 3 minute walk back to the station - can't fault the location as it was exactly where it needed to be!
