Handyman On Tap (Brighton)

Gavin spent a week at ours sorting a variety of things - painting, flooring, external render repair and more. He was awesome - reliable, punctual, very hard working and he really knows his stuff. He did a great job of everything he did and has real attention to detail, the place looks great now. Also, he's a really lovely bloke so overall I'd highly recommend him. Shout out to Ellis in the office as well who was really helpful with getting the quote and admin all sorted. We were a bit hesitant about the 50% deposit but are really glad we went ahead. I had to call them to investigate water leakage and repair it. They were polite and helpful. But they could not dignose the problem. I would still recomed them.

Hired this company to sand and oil our worktops. The guy who attended, Darren, was on time, friendly and I felt very happy leaving him alone for the day to do the job. However the quality of work was not good, marks on the worktop were missed and sander used against the grain of wood so scratches were left. They gave us a small discount but we would not use this company again. We wanted to pay for a professional service but felt we could have done this quality of work ourselves.

Awful. They quoted 500 to fit a cat flap. When I asked why it cost so much I was given the explanation that it covers a plumber and handyman and materials. Not sure in which world they think that this is an acceptable quote.
