Before Christmas I had my hair cut and coloured by Ian. This appointment was originally booked with Billie months ago for a Friday before my works Christmas party. I had heard through the grapevine that Billie had left the salon, and I was disappointed that I had not been contacted by the salon to advise this. I ended up calling the Salon first thing the Monday proir to see if the appointment would be honoured as had heared nothing. I really wanted to go to the salon to freshen up my colour, have my hair styled and not worry about having to do it myself for the Xmas party. I has spoken to Sam and she had confirmed that Billie had left, but would honour the appointment, and appointed Ian to me at Billies prices On arrival, Ian was busy with another client. I had a 10-15 minute wait, I was not offered a beverage whilst I waited. When Ian came to me, he did apologise for the delay which I was greatful for. He was a very lovely, chatty fella. I advised him I wanted me roots coloured , As there were quite a few sparkles coming through; to thin it out and it was very heavy, where I have been growing it. And to graduate the Bob a bit as I like that slight graduation. As my colour was processing, I was finally offered a drink, and Ian had another client arrive. Once the colour was washed out, Ian set to cutting my hair. He did this wet and then I styled it wavey, with the blow dryer. I had asked for it to be curled. Blow drying wavey gave no opportunity for Ian to see how my hair sat once dry. I wasnt overly keen on how my hair was styled when I left. I tried to question with Ian about if he had thinned my hair out as requested, to which he said he had, but then rushed off in order to see his other client. Although Ian was lovely and friendly, I felt he rushed my hair. I was not happy with the way it was styled, and I sat in my car and cried as it was not what I expected the end result to look like. I was charged 95 to feel like this, which was approx 25 more than Billie would have charged. My friend come to my house and restyled my hair, she had noticed that the cut was uneven from the back and patches Of sparkles remained. It was also found that layers had been added to the back to the crown section which I had not requested. Emailed Sam the following Monday with photographs of my hair as evidence and I requested a full refund. Sam has not responded to that email, not to the further emails I have sent. I have tried calling the salon and no answer. I am hugely disappointed with the end result. I would hope that Sam church would agree that the service and end result was not satisfactory and counter-indicated for her Salon and what she would hope how people feel when leaving your salon I won't be returning and will taking this further...
