Grace International Hair Extensions

I chose Grace International after checking reviews for places to have my hair done. I had the best experience they are so friendly and after a few hours (4) my hair looks fantastic. I would highly recommend this place the cost was reasonable for the amount of time and care taken to have braids done and will be back again. Sorry about the bad photos I took it does not do it enough justice

Overall my experience with this salon was amazing. I booked an appointment over the phone with Cecilia who was very nice and to the point. I asked for box braids with curly ends and Cecilia and Louise both did a really great job on it. It took about 3 hours and the quality was amazing with a very reasonable price. I had a horrible experience in the salon. I went to get my hair extensions and booked an appointment. I had to wait for hours, after which she told me that she didn't have any tape extensions, so I had to go and get them and buy them. Despite that, I got them and returned and she wasn't there, so her colleague told me to get some food (even though she went outside and left me with her other colleague). She applied baby oil on my extensions, and she didn't even clean the extensions or wash them, and my hair started getting greasy and sticky because she had put the tapes on the wrong side of the extensions and because she didn't have the right tools, not even to clip the extensions. One extension was put on top of the other. All of the work was neither clean nor professional; even the salon wasn't clean. She couldn't finish doing the rest of the extensions, and they told me the salon was closed now and told me to come back after two days to finish the rest of the extensions because they didn't have the tape extensions, so they had to order them even though the shop for tape extensions is near them which was ridiculous at that point. Not even the next day, the extensions started sliding and falling off, and my hair was getting sticky and greasy because of the baby oil. When I told her that I wanted a refund because my extensions got ruined, she was rude and said you are not getting a refund. I was like, the least thing you could do is give me a refund, and I'm not even asking for a full refund, just half; she completely ignored me and was extremely rude even though the extensions were mine. She then started saying I didn't want to pay, which was not true, and I asked her if she had a card machine; she was like no but transfer it to my account. I was like, okay, just show me how to do that because I don't know how you want me to transfer it. She never even let me finish explaining what happened and cut me off. She didn't give a receipt after I paid because the transaction was not professional; that's why I couldn't get a refund for proof, so it's basically stealing. She then kept on saying she fit me in even though an appointment was made to come at a certain time; still, she kept on serving other people without an appointment while I had to wait. She kept leaving the salon to get food doing everything, even chatting on the phone but finishing what she was supposed to do. Even though i asked her before doing the extensions that she had the tools needed for the tape extensions, she said yeah, which is not true and ruined everything with the wrong tools.
