The home made lamb burger with fries was excellent as was the beefburger, and all the other dishes that came from the kitchen looked good.What lets the place down is the decor and the toilets, all in bad need of decoration a coat of paint would be good, but having said that if the quality of food is more important to you than decor then give it a go

Well I would have liked to have enjoyed the food but 15 minutes of ringing out just after opening on the 29/01/23 and nobody to pick up the phone.

Although Ive rated this establishment as average....it seems a bit harsh...but I would rate as good. This pub/ restaurant has plenty of space. Located near the river, it looks out over a busy intersection. There is parking on site and on the road. We didnt access the Wi-fi, so cannot comment on this. Clean and spacious, this restaurant is well run. Staff were courteous and hard working. There is a wide choice on the menu although our choices of Sunday roasts didnt test the menu too far.... The food was well cooked and tasty. We all felt that there just wasnt enough food on the plates and this was disappointing. It wasnt clear to us that we needed to order at the bar. No big deal, but maybe should be part of the welcome...Perhaps we arrived at a bad time. Prices are reasonable and well within our expectations for this type of restaurant.
