Nothing was too much trouble every request we made was quietly taken care of with no fuss or drama. We were gently helped, supported and guided to give Nan a personal unique, even uplifting send off. Thank you again for making such a strange time a more positive experience for all of us, one we can look back on as a personal unique celebration of Nans life.

I cannot thank the ladies at ARKA funerals enough. Their ethos, their conduct, their compassion, at every step. Entirely professional throughout. I used this company to say goodbye to my dear old Dad. Both him and I were safe in their hands. "Just this aspect alone is invaluable at a time when we are most vunerable." Gentle guidance in finding out how we, can choose to honour those we love and have lost. This is not yet another run of the mill funeral company, this is a 'true' funeral director, that cares, with compassion, for both the deceased and the bereaved. I highly recommend ARKA

The fabulous ladies at ARKA performed my mothers funeral this morning. I cannot express my gratitude for their kindness, compassion, assistance and professionalism. Their ethos is one of humanity and sustainability. We chose a cardboard coffin (which come in a multitude of colours and patterns) and you dont need a hearse or pall bearers if you dont want them. They helped me choose the music, the words, the order of service and all the small things that you never think of. Finally, 2 of the mourners who are seasoned funeral goers said that it was the nicest funeral they had ever been to. I think that says it all. If ever I need to organise another funeral locally, theres only one place I will go and thats ARKA.
