Lovely yum fish and chips. Coeliac certified and they do tons of GF food including CURRY SAUCE! Really delicious, good value and lovely people. They do delivery via Deliveroo but I think Definitely worth popping in and getting them fresh. All the better. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free (certified coeliac friendly)

Others should take note, this is how you do customer service in a small pub kitchen. A warm and personal welcome, drinks brought to the table, a real interest in feedback - and all this despite the place be chock full. So yes, book ahead for food but feel free to take a drink at the bar or in the outdoor area. The menu has some real surprises in the starters with a mix of traditional and specials on the main list. The starters, we tried 3 on the list, were fantastic - truly excellent. The Gnocchi, Pork and Scallops dishes. The gnocchi might be regarded as too large a starter for some but dont worry your fellow guests will welcome the opportunity to tuck in. The ox cheek main is for you if you like a huge portion. Theres a decent Rioja on the wine list and some good ales on cask and keg.
