My partner chose this place for our monthversary and we absolutely loved itVery good hosting and amazing cocktails. Food was lovely except I've had one dish a bit too salty but other than that love the place.

Excellent!! Not to be missed when in Brighton. Best staff ever! Food is incredibly delicious.

Firstly, the food here is amazing. Cant rate it enough. Cooked perfectly, good presentation and portions, really couldnt complain on that front. Its a shame about the restaurant layout. The tables are far too big and chunky and we were literally sitting with the couple next to us. We couldnt get out to leave without disturbing them which was awkward. The table next to the stairs to the toilet shouldnt be there. The couple that were sat there had to keep moving as it is a tight fit for customers to pass to get to the WC, every time she moved her chair it scrapped along the floor making a really unpleasant noise. There was only one waiter in uniform/costume so I dont really get the crossover to Peaky Blinders. I felt for the two waiters as they sweated through their shift, should be a separate table table clearer to take away plates and empty bottles, table next to us had 4 empty beer bottles, two glasses on their table as their food arrived. Could be a great little place to go if they just ironed out a few basic problems.If you can bare the issues I mentioned then Id certainly give this place a go for the food alone.

Thieves who sell out of date products. They were (and continue to) advertising a Bottomless Burger and Beers evening for which I paid an advanced fee of 27pp. On arrival their staff told us the promotion hasnt been active for several months. The staff called the manager who claimed that they could not pay me back as it had to go through the booking site. They have ignored all my emails since and still have not refunded me. The booking site will not refund me as the event was not officially cancelled. They leave us no option but to seek legal advice. To make this experience more farcical - as I was dealing with this issue my friends ordered drinks. They received two flat pints of coke, a beer that expired in January and a tonic water with an expiration of May 2021! Awful establishment. Avoid at all costs.
