i had to Edit this again and give you my whole account as a patients perceptive of Dr Sharp who i find splendid as i really felt he puts alot of emphasis in his role as general practitioner even thou the appointments are only 10min long i really felt listened too and i felt that he took all my health elements very seriously not too mention all the blood test and being seen by specialist due to my health elements and also i would like to add i have also heard other patients give good feedback to me about him saying that they felt very comfortable would him and they can express personal issues which is a great all i can say after having him as a Gp for 17 years i am happy to have him a my general practitioner and i know now he is retired i wish him the best in future also i would like to add i am glad that the National Health Service Sector has someone like Dr Sharp who spectacular and listens too his patients clinical conditions we need more general practitioners like this Man because this is very Important for the Health Sector.

Speaking as relatively a new patient, having joined some 5-6 months ago, I am happy to find both staff and doctors both helpful and friendly. Whilst not forgetting the length of time waiting for appointments. Which, -as long as youre prepared to wait between 2 plus weeks for a normal or standard appointment, then Ive found the Center well organised and efficient. -Although having said a normal appointment can take some time, if its an urgent appointment, then its a different matter.. Which, providing you start early from 8.30am or before 9am, then personally Ive always been seen, or had a phone appointment from say 11.30 on, in the same morning.. -Its a shame that not enough money is going into the NHS, because I suspect that has quite a bearing on how quickly patients are seen. As well the balance between patients and ALL the skilled workers who are part of this fundamental and valuable function. -I posted this some 2 years ago but unfortunately Ive had to redress this comment as my experiences before the virus came to our shores had altered. Being in constant pain and asking for help due to the addictive nature of some painkillers I found that I was placed under the same umbrella as rough sleepers or at least drug addicts who have no desire to change their lives. Ill be honest and admit that when I was a youth I tried cannabis which incidentally was the drug of choice with a GP from my previous surgery -honestly! But with an injury sustained in my late teens left me in pain that I have every day. I might be to sensitive over this matter but when I had a bad cold the empathy poured forth from my current doctors but if it was anything to do with a solution so I could sleep pain free doctors and would raise their voices as if I hadnt got the point. I was also prescribed lower or no medicine when I joined the surgery which should have been reviewed by a letter informing me that this is what they were going to do. Id really like to up the rating and the 5 STAR rating I originally gave should now be read as 3 and a 1/2 STAR rating although when this virus business ever finishes I may well be increased to improve it.

I find myself agreeing with Jacob regarding the lack of empathy and making you feel that the surgery has your best interests at heart, ever since Dr Sharp went down to two day's a week due to other commitments to the community and health service, this surgery and one Dr have lost my trust and trust in any Dr is earn't by how you are treated, unfortunately the partner seems more concerned with saving money by seeking the cheapest medications and denying you the medication and treatments you need now, not weeks or months later, he actually came out and said no I'm not giving you supplementary dietary requirements until i have seen a dietician, I'm 52 5'8" and my weight is nine stone as i have no appetite and find it painful when I can eat due to the fact that i have no bottom teeth in which to chew food and he must be aware as i had a 360 scan done on my teeth and bone density. Pure arrogance or ignorance i do not know, but what i do know is that i have no confidence in Dr Ioannidis as he must have some type of language communication barrier, as he states that i asked by name for a medication that i am allergic to that lead me to suffer severe complications, when i fact my words were "anything other than as that medication only gave me severe headaches". I had no choice other than to call an ambulance after hours of sweats and laboured breathing, these wonderful people spent over three hours to bring my breathing and profuce sweating under control. Not once did i see this Dr check my records prior to prescribing Zolpidem. My neighbour has issues regarding communication with this Dr too. If you have any kind of substance misuse or smoke, then pick another Dr! Within this surgery as there are more competent Dr's to choose from.

Helpful doctors. However, 20 day wait for a non-urgent appointment. Would recommend not using them for this reason
