Palmeira News Convenience Store

Unfortunately, I have had very poor experiences at this store. I only use the Post Office so I cannot comment on the rest of the service but the Post Office transactions have been characterised by generally unfriendly service. I wouldn't have bothered to comment except for a recent visit when I had used a pre-paid Royal Mail label which I had purchased online about 36 hours previously. When I tried to hand it over it was refused on the grounds that it was past the date stated on the label for postage. This was true but I was baffled as it had been purchased so recently and asked why this might be and what, since I had paid for it, I should do. The man serving me couldn't have been less interested or less helpful - really quite rude. Eventually I gave up asking and, as I left, I heard him and his colleague sniggering about it. Really, the sort of jobsworth attitude that delights in people getting things wrong. Pathetic.

Friendly little convenience store open long hours. You can also use it to return Amazon parcels.
