The Co-operative Food

Friendly local store that has a surprisingly good range of products, used battery collection, cash dispenser, and takes in Evri parcels. I just had what I consider some very poor service from this store. I went in at 12.50 to collect an Evri parcel, to be told that the staff were sorting a delivery and I would have to come back in 25 minutes. I am partially disabled and had got off the bus one stop early to collect my parcel, and could not come back later. I wish now I had stood my ground and demanded my parcel, but instead I left feeling very disheartened and disgruntled.

The Indian woman who works on Sundays is a thief. She over charges and if you catch her out she says there is a pricing fault on the system.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS STORE IN HOVE BUT I AND MY FAMILY ARE EXTREMELY UPSET. THE LOVELY MANAGER DEBBIE IS LEAVING NEXT WEEK AND EVERYONE IS DEVESTATED. SHE IS MOVING TO ANOTHER CO-OP, LUCKY THEM, BUT ALL WE WANT IS FOR HER TO STAY ON. SHE IS THE SUNSHINE OF THE PLACE WITH HER JOYFUL UPBEAT PERSONALITY AND SINGING! SHE OBVIOUSLY WASN'T APPRECIATED WITH ALL THE MANIC HARD WORK THAT SHE DOES AND DID THROUGHOUT COVID. SHE PRACTICALLY RUNS THE PLACE! SHE KEEPS THE STORE SMILING AND SHINING. I WON'T BE SHOPPING HERE AGAIN, WITH MY 90YR OLD MUM WITH ALZEIMERS AND SISTERS, KIDS ETC... THIS STORE WAS LIKE ONE BIG HAPPY FAMILY. PLEEEEEEEASE KEEP HER ON I BEG YOU!! IT JUST WON'T BE THE SAME.
