Dropped three UPS parcels in for Germany at the weekend - all scanned, got SMS with tracking, no problem. The owner has a min spend of 3 on cards and for all you moaners this is because the card charges that the card companies and banks charge are MASSIVE. If he takes a 2 payment on milk with a profit of 0.60p his card fees are as much as 0.90p so he makes a .30p loss. It doesn't take a genius to work out how long it would take for his business to go bust. So do yourselves a favour - buy milk, a newspaper and something else OR dig deep down the back of your sofa for a pound coin and stop complaining. If you want to support local shops do it with cash or spend more on your card.
