I only have great things to say about Matt and the team at Core Chiropractic. I was lucky enough to get a ballot place at the London Marathon this year, but started 2023 way behind schedule and injured. I saw Matt about my groin injury in early January, and at that time it was looking likely that I would only just be able to get round the 26 miles, if at all! As a committed (and fast!) long-distance runner himself, Matt was perfectly placed to fix me and did an incredible job guiding me through the following weeks of hard training, which included a number of typical runner's niggles (knees, hamstring and ongoing groin issues). He was also incredibly helpful passing on his extensive running knowledge and by the end of February I was in good shape to run a half marathon. Matt is also very transparent about how many sessions with him will be needed. I write this review just a few days after the London Marathon and I'm very happy and somewhat amazed to say that I managed to run 3hrs 56 mins, which looked impossible in January and represents a 36 minute improvement on the last marathon I ran 7 years ago! I honestly couldn't have done it without Matt and will be forever grateful to him. I would also like to give a big shout-out to Sian at Core Chiropractic, who also skilfully helped me through the weeks before the marathon, with a series of excellent deep tissue massages. The massages kept me in good shape and helped me recovery quickly after my long training runs, so I whole-heartedly recommend her! Thanks again Matt & Sian :-) Anthony

I saw Matt and within a short time on my first session he was able to identify all of my issues. He gave me the relevent information along with the exercises to correct my issues. Overall he is professional and knowledgeable. Fantastic.

I came to see Matt regarding preparation for the 2023 athletics season. He quickly identified a few areas to focus on and Ive been working with Matt to sort them out. I am really impressed with his expertise and understanding of the needs of sprint athletes, and I am already noticing an improvement in my strength and speed. I also see Lola who is working wonders with an ongoing Achilles problem and Sian whose sports massages are a highlight of my week. Superb team of professionals and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them.

As an artistic roller skater I get my fair share of injuries. I started seeing Zbynek Zatloukal at Core Chiropractic last year after a bad skate fall left me unable to move my neck. Not only is he knowledgeable, effective and professional he is also well-versed in skating injuries. He's currently treating my frozen shoulder (post-arm fracture injury) and although I often describe the treatment as literal torture, the fact is that it works. The word 'massage' doesn't quite fit, Zbynek uses a variety of tools and techniques to deeply release inflamed areas and always has useful post-treatment exercises for me to continue the healing at home. I'm writing this with my shoulder strapped up after a painful but satisfying session. 100% money well spent!

Consultation for running injury, most thorough one Ive had. Tried various sports therapy places in various parts of the country, mainly for massage but Core chiropractic takes a more holistic approach looking at why I got injured and not just how to fix it. Staff were brilliant and friendly. Its also reassuring to be treated by a fellow runner snd someone with knowledge of triathlon. Would highly recommend.
