        We had a take away on Saturday, it was superb!! Best one yet , delicious , hot and fairly quick

        Its a terrible shame this used to be one of the best Chinese take aways in Brighton, now it is the WORST! The young guy working behind the desk is the rudest person Ive ever met, swearing at drivers as I waited for my food and spoke to them disgustingly. He has to be the rudest person I have ever encountered. I have never heard anyone in a business speak to their staff as I just witnessed. Learn some English I believe was the phrase used!! Their card machine never works and its made out to be your fault. AVOID THIS CHINESE, food is mediocre at best and the service APPALLING!!! Spent a lot of money here over the years, I wont be spending another penny there ever again!

        Very disappointed. Ordered special fried rice... some of the prawns still had shell on and most of them hadn't been de-vained. Ordered sweet chilli sauce, tasted it and it was sweet n sour sauce just with added chilli. Ordered the salt n chilli ribs the meat was so dry hard to swallow.

      • After all that terrible reviews on Google I was scared to order from Shanghai Garden. But i did it and I am happy to get hot, fresh and tasty food. The portions are big. Food is spicy balanced and delicious. Separate thanks for the quick delivery.
