Nando's Brighton - Marina

Food come out cold. Food took 20 minutes to come out. I watched as it sat on the hot plate for 5+ minutes, which meant by the time it come the chips werent crispy or hot. Usually I would send it back but didnt have time. Worst Nandos I think Ive ever had, pretty sure the chicken touched the grill for all of 2 seconds. There was no char on the skin, it was as if the chicken had been microwaved. The manager had to jump in the kitchen due to, what I assume was the kitchen staff struggling. Which is weird as it was completely dead. Not sure wether the training is lacking or the work ethic of the kitchen staff and the quality control that the manager imposes were awful. The waiter that took our order, jan her name was. No complaints. She was polite and courteous, so dont let this one star by any means reflect her ability. The food was so bad which is what is reflected here. However we was given complimentary halloumi for our long wait time. But we didnt ask for this, and it doesnt make up for truly awful food. Its not hard to make good quality chicken and chips. Just needs care and attention

Standard Nandos - ordering was easy on the QR code and it came quickly enough. Unfortunately had no butterfly chicken but the half chicken was good. Wing roulette can be brutal if you're not careful.
