Lovely friendly (dog friendly too) cafe. Food is fresh and good too. Only reason Im giving 3 star instead of five is the price of the coffee. 3.60 its too much when other park cafes and cafes in the area charge about 3

Myself and my partner stopped in here before visiting the Booth museum. A lovely little cafe overlooking Hove Green. I ordered a simple brownie and Dr Pepper and both were delicious and reasonably priced. However, the meals going past us as we sat down looked absolutely amazing. My partner ordered a mocha and when it arrived, the waitress put down an Americano instead. This mistake was quickly rectified and she was given a mocha, however she said that she has had much nicer Mocha's at other cafes. Kid-friendliness: Very welcoming of children and dogs.

This is a very nice place at a great location which should get four to five stars except .... the staff. OMG! They are amazingly bad. You walk in and they can barely bother to turn to look up from their phones or stop their chat. The face expressions are just dripping disdain that people come in and order food and drink. The customers are just a nuisance standing between them and the end of their work day. The last time I walked in - and this is what finally provoked this revue after many unpleasant experiences in there - the girl at the counter kept her back turned to me. She had just made herself a nice chai latte and was chatting with somebody in the kitchen. She could not be asked to stop chatting and to take an order. I am sorry for the owner, who is a very nice and very forthcoming guy, but with that staff I will be making my way further down the road to other cafes in 7 Dials.
