Good when they turn up, but the 12X seems to operate on a whim. The app doesnt help, telling you the bus is 5 minutes away then the bus suddenly disappears. The electronic signs are similar. Overall they are too unreliable to rate higher.

I will start taking pictures of the buses as some have before me, and provide dates . The amount of times I have been standing in the bus stop with my hand up, CLEARLY signalling for the drive to stop because I wanted to get on, only for him to look me DEAD IN THE EYE and NOT even slow down at all. Oftentimes, these are the drivers that go with crazy speeds as well, now that's making it even worse. We all know how the weather gets in this country.. not getting picked up by the bus FOR NO REASON other then the driver, probably, living out their sadistic fantasies is well, messed up. Just zero regard.. Very sad EDIT: If only all bus stops had cover and electric/constantly updated timetables.. I guess that would make these situations slightly less oof

2nd Dec 2022. The 5B is now atrocious, with no serious congestion on the roads people are now left waiting for over 45mins at 'London Rd Shops' for any of the 5's going Northbound, many walked away disgusted and this service is now completely useless after 3pm (school college runs) any day of the week more often now is a 40min wait not 10 or 20. 'Timetables lie and are often stuck in time' I live here I should know. The 5's distance from 'The Palace pier bus stop' (near Old Steine) is about a mile to the next bus stop Northbound it's a nightmare in chronic pain. As someone with serious walking difficulties I was forced to buy a scooter which isn't street legal so thanks for putting me at further risk. If you get a scooter and you get stopped be sure to blame the worsening bus service here. I've noticed more and more people using scooters and those with walking difficulties now use scooters as buses no longer allow powered wheelchairs unless they have a special approved 'kite mark', and I have been refused entry with a tiny mobility scooter because of this by a horrible jobs worth. These powered disability chairs cost thousands of pounds! But no two wheeled scooters aloud even though they fold and could be being used as a legitimate disability aid like a walking frame, and takes up a lot less space. If scooters on Buses are banned because of potential battery fire risks so should all disability scooters for the same reason! And your buses also use hybrid battery / motor power which have been known to catch fire. Please Close The Windows ! All Mandates have been lifted, including masks, that were only guidelines not law! there is no pandemic!. Stand up and close the windows people!
