Nothing particularly bad about Famous Sichuan but if you're a vegetarian you'll be disappointed by the tofu- it's been kept frozen for too long and the effect is lifeless, odd-tasting bits of sofa filling, not the spongey succulent stuff that chinese food can be so good at. Eating in seems much better than take away for portion size and quality. I've heard Sichuan Garden next door is good so we'll be trying there next!

Great place for food and drinks any time of the day, with a killer Sunday roast! Been here on several occasions and is always a pleasant atmosphere with lovely bar staff. Great for afternoon lunch, dinner or a Sunday roast. Just keep in mind that it is a rather strict set menu with roasts so you can't have more/less of something.

Be careful when private booking this venue. They ask you for a deposit which they clearly state they will refund to you in their emails however they refuse to refund the money back to you after the event claiming its a fee now and not a deposit! Shocking experience and very untrustworthy wouldnt recommend!
