Such unhelpful staff. Last 3 times I've been in the branch they have not been willing to help out. Today there were 2 members of staff and no customers and I was told that they were too busy to open an account. Bloody joke

The old lady's attitude here is one of the worst experiences I have ever had in a professional setting. I was already banking with TSB happily, but now see this as a completely unacceptable environment and will not be using TSB for business. I came inquiring about opening a new account, information about opening a business account, etc. Since I am fairly new to this, and also not born in the UK, it has taken me longer than 10 months now to receive my national insurance number, there has been a delay registering my business, a delay receiving my UTR number, etc. Essentially it's been a slow crawl, but HMRC has been ace with correspondence throughout it all. The person was already not sympathizing with me, and her attitude very noticeably turned disrespectful and dirty when I answered about what I do. Mine is a widely disrespected business in the public eye, but this is a bank. This is very clearly discriminatory behavior. She did not read the little explanation I had typed out ahead of time, and then responded with inaccurate information for my circumstance. For example, she told me about how when she had her own B&B, she just went to the "tax office" and got everything sorted in a week. It was made to seem that this was some sort of HMRC office where I could sit down with someone, but when I looked for it, this ended up not existing. She must have been talking about a tax consultant office that must have closed down. Considered rating a little bit higher since service was fine with another worker on a different occasion, but hated this so much I have to leave it at one star.
