Excellent practice with a friendly and approachable team. Efficient, cost effective and very detailed service was provided on our renovation and extension project in Hove, built this year. I would highly recommend using Archangels and will be working with them again in future.

I sometimes find it hard to believe that the light-filled, dry and comfortable home is the same damp, dank and dark house that I started off with. I contacted a number of architects before I bought the house, and Richard was the only one interested in seeing the space and making any suggestions on how I could utilise the space before the house was mine. That he didnt run off screaming when he saw the house I was planning to buy was a big selling point for me! Instead, and in spite of the size limitations and awkward layout of the house, archangels were skilled at taking my ideas and doing their architect thing to come up with a plan that somehow met all my needs, . I engaged archangels to manage everything from the builder tender process, through to dealing with the councils painful planning permissions process, and project managing the work. Communication at all stages was excellent, and as a result of archangels' professionalism, I did not experience any of the horrors that I know a house renovation can entail. I suppose the best recommendation I can give is to say that I would have zero hesitation in taking on another project of this scale, provided I had the creative, experienced and extremely capable and approachable team from archangels working with me.

Our 1930s bungalow needed modernising and extending. At our initial meeting Richard from archangels filled us with confidence that our vision, a contemporary home filled with light, was achievable and he immediately gave us some great ideas. Richard and Hannah then worked with us to develop and refine these ideas, introducing practical innovations throughout the design process. They listened carefully to our hopes and aims and came up with options for achieving them. They supported us in the selection of the building contractor and then took on the project management. During this phase their communication continued to be outstanding working well with us and the builders. They continued to come up with creative ideas, made sure the project was on track and ensured that any issues were quickly resolved. Throughout the whole process we were encouraged by archangels friendly and approachable style. They were very easy to deal with and very supportive. We have now moved back into our beautiful home with our hopes and expectations well and truly exceeded. We remain grateful to archangels for their creativity, expertise and professionalism and strongly recommend them.

I engaged the fantastic archangels team when I started the process of buying our little terraced house in brighton. at the start, the house was dark, damp and in need of a total overhaul. I was living abroad. and here we are now, installed in a brilliant, bright and welcoming home that we have all the intention to stay in for a very long time! archangels came to the rescue in three ways: great ideas for opening up and modernising the house, making a huge difference in terms of light, layout and efficient use of quite small spaces; managing the process of producing, submitting plans, doing environmental and other surveys, engaging structural engineers, etc; and finally but really critically, overseeing all the works and acting as go between with the building company, which was especially important as I was abroad but also because they are experts and were able to really make sure things were done to a high standard. i have not regretted archangel's involvement for a single moment!
