Brought the repair and care policy . After the first call-out and replacing parts it then developed a second fault that was not the original fault after 3 more visits and then on the last visit it was noted by the engieer that the casement and the seal was broken so he ordered them .only to be told that they can't get the parts that have been broken from the engineers having g to pull the appliance out 5 times in about 5 weeks . Was informed that it would be replaced when I then phoned up was told no policy has been cancelled as can't get part . Although on my plan it says a replacement (next day this had changed to policy cancelled . So I have now got a dishwasher thatstill has a fault and more damage than when I took out the plan it also states cover for accidentally damage (this was from the engineers) no refund but a letter saying I owe them (no fixed no fee) !!!! I don't want a new one just mine fixed and damage caused fixed Service: Dishwasher repair

Have all my major appliances insured with them and have always found their site easy to use, very helpful and efficient. Can always book repairs with little or no trouble.

Don't waste your money. Especially if you are a female living alone. D&G use Domex engineers who are aggressive, rude, lazy useless, unhelpful and made me feel vulnerable in my own home. This is the second time one of the engineers had visited my property, he was rude the first time. He said he'd have to come back because my LG fridge freezer was too heavy for him. So he knew in advance of any potential problems. When Domex called me to book the second visit, I was advised that there would be two engineers to lift my LG fridge freezer and I didn't need to empty my fridge freezer. But when the two engineers arrived, they ordered me to clear the contents of my fridge and the items surrounding the fridge freezer, which were heavy. They stood outside, just chatting, with no offer of help. When they eventually came back in, they told me to sign a disclaimer in case they damaged my property. I refused to sign this, and they said they couldn't do the job. When I phoned to complain, the adviser said it is their policy to make you sign a disclaimer. I was not warned when signing up for this insurance that I would have to sign a disclaimer for possible damage to my property. I ordered them off my property. So the job isn't complete. I will cancel this insurance and hire an LG qualified engineer who genuinely cares and makes me feel like a valued customer. Extremely disappointed. Waste of money and time. I contacted Domestic & General a few weeks ago to arrange an engineer to take a look at my Bosch oven which was not heating up. An engineer from Domex came out to assess it and after a few minutes the engineer told me Domestic & General would be in contact and promptly left. I received an email a few days later saying that unfortunately it was not viable to fix my oven. I phoned Domex to send me a breakdown of the parts I needed. There were 5 parts in total including a bulb which I definitely didn't need as the one in the oven was working just fine. This rang alarm bells so I called out an engineer from Bosch who assessed the oven and was shocked to find exposed wires touching the metal back plate on the oven. If someone had switch the oven on they would have been seriously injured. As for the parts I only need 2! I raised this with Domestic & General 2 weeks ago and I have still not had a response. Clearly they're comfortable sending out engineers that will leave appliances in a dangerous state and quote for parts that are not required. Service: Oven repair
