        My mother spent the last year and a half of her life here at Stronvar. What an amazing place! Carers that actually CARE and who want to help make life fun for the elderly. When you first walk into Stronvar it immediately passes what my wife and I called "the sniff test"...believe me, there are MANY far more expensive Care homes that don't! Just a quick visit and you will see that every resident is genuinely part of a close knit family with staff always present and encouraging, rather than as we have seen in other 'care homes' skulking away in a back room waiting for their shift to end! The food is good...no, the food is EXCELLENT and the kitchen team make a real effort to please the residents. If you are looking for a care home for a loved one, you would be very hard pressed to find one better than STRONVAR!
