Eddie's Surf Academy

I've been learning to surf for decades with effectively no progress. Eddie's White to Green course looked really interesting. During the first lesson I managed to get to my feet, slot into a small white water ride and got wave of the week. Its taken the full 5 week course to achieve some consistency but the progress has been much better than I had hoped for. Eddie's teaching style is really great. He packs the skills you need to begin improving into digestible chunks and provides relevant and specific feedback. As a group we ALL improved in different ways, but as one, we are all much more comfortable getting outback, practicing in white waves and catching the occasional green waves. The course began with set goals and outcomes and he delivered them all. It doesn't mean we can all surf well, but we are definitely equipped with the how and now its down to us to practice. The video analysis was really useful too. Highly recommended.

Eddie is an amazing coach because he communicates so clearly and is passionate about helping you progress. He's very encouraging and positive, making the sessions so much fun too!

Absolutely brilliant! We've just completed Eddie's 'White to Green' beginners' surf course. Eddie's course is very structured and with clear progression. We started in waist height water learning to catch little white waves, building up to catching green waves out the back, including water safety and where to catch the best waves. Eddie is a really lovely teacher.. really fun and approachable but very knowledgeable. He backs up the classes with a WhatsApp group, so we've built up a great friendship group to go and practice our surfing until were ready to go onto the next course! I'd highly recommend Eddie's Surf Academy for all abilities and ages.
