My wife and I stayed at Thorncross last week, September 2022, we had originally planned to stay three nights but chose to increase this to six. The site is well positioned to explore the south coast of the island, near the village of Brighstone and it has a nearby bus route, though we didn't use it. We found the owner very friendly and the site is kept neat and tidy. Facilities are simple but perfectly adequate if one is used to CS or CL sites. I really appreciated the individual water taps on each pitch. The field is flat, we did not need any levelling ramps and even though we had a good deal of rain we had no issues driving a small motorhome on and off the site. We would have no hesitation recommending Thorncross as a great place to stay. Pete and Mary Cheyney
