They have supervised and supported us as we moved from a start up partnership to a limited company, advising and supporting us on everything relating to tax, VAT, payroll and general good business accounting practice. Alfie is a legend! I moved my accounts (personal and subsequently business) across to Sleigh and Story, having had an initial conversation with Alfie... From the very first meeting, I felt like he knew what he was doing, he wanted to help his clients make tax less daunting and that I could trust he would give me sound support. Alfie, has never disappointed!! He is always on hand if I need him and extremely knowledgeable, the difference with Alife (Sleigh and Story) versus the last accountancy firm I used is massive... I would not hesitate to recommend Alfie or Sleigh and Story to any business or person looking for individual support with their tax. Having worked with a few companies over the years, I can honestly say they deserve the 5 star rating - you can probably judge that be the fact that I never begrudge paying their invoices!!! The team at Sleigh and Story have been the most amazing support to me something of a novice when it comes to financial admin joining a new organisation as the studio manager, surviving a pandemic and launching a new company, all within two years. Jonny, Rebecca and Andrew (and others) have answered my thousand questions clearly, quickly and kindly, and theyre always completely good-humoured and patient.
