Amazing place. We went here simply because it seemed to be one of a few food places in this town that wasn't a pub. Being away from home (down south) for the weekend I just wanted something that wasn't "ping cuisine" (microwaved tatt). I'm very happy we stumbled upon this place, the food was hands down the best Indian food I've had in years. I had passanda and husband had a mixed balti. The starters were absolutely banging, the pakoras and bahjis were fresh and full of flavour. Then there's the naan.... It's ridiculous, in a good way. Sadly there was a very rude, drunk customer, but the staff here had the patience of saints. No one should have to deal with people like that, no matter what industry they work in, but they managed to stay calm and things settled. The biggest shock was the price! 35 for 2 currys, rice, 2 starters, poppadoms with dipping sauces, a naan the size of a toddler to share and a drink each. Crazy good value. This place is worth travelling for! If you're near Huddersfield and like decent Indian food you need to go here.
