This was probably one of my worst experiences with a company - any company. The customer service was abhorrent, the boilers they claim to back are unreliable and terribly designed, and the overall experience of dealing with them was incredibly unpleasant. I've spoken to 3 independent boiler technicians in the area - 2 of them had never heard of Ravenheat and the 3rd said he would never recommend them. I can't emphasize enough how unprofessional, rude, and incompetent this company is.

Avoid this place like the plague! Rude unhelpful staff.! Immediately blamed service engineers & poor maintenance for a faulty part which was diagnosed yesterday after a call out despite the last service been carried out 10/03/2022 & everything worked fine. Offer a 5 year warranty then refuse to honour it despite the boiler been serviced yearly by a GAS SAFE registered engineer / company as required by the manufacture. Proof of all yearly services/readings on the handbook which was supplied by the manufacturer. AVOID THIS COMPANY - DO NOT USE !!

I bought a house which had a brand new Ravenheat boiler installed. It's broken down numerous times, on one occasion I had no hot water or heating for twelve days because the engineer couldn't get the parts to fix it. It's had so many repairs it's now like Triggers brush. The parts are so expensive you'd be better off throwing it away and buying a new boiler, which I ended up doing. Cheap for a reason.

I cannot stress enough how bad this company are. Firstly, the boilers are pretty poorly made. I've had one fitted for 3.5 years, and it's broken down twice in that time. First time was 2 months over the 2 year warranty. They refused to do anything to help. The fault was because they used a plastic nut where they should've used metal to save about 0.30p. They blamed it on high water pressure in the area, but in actual fact the water pressure in the area is particularly low. There's no logical reason to have used plastic for that nut and their own technical support team recommended replacing it with metal. Second time there was a fault, they refused to even give me any advice at all, because I'm not a gas safe engineer. Wouldn't even tell me what the error code on the display meant. So essentially I'd have to pay 80 call out to get an engineer to site, to even ascertain what might be wrong, and if it's even economical to repair. They do not offer engineer call outs themselves and the boilers are rare, so don't expect your average boiler engineer to have any clue on fixing them. Decided to cut my losses and get a different boiler fitted. The customer service/warranty guy is also insanely rude. Put the phone down on me 3 times for basically no reason. I was understandably a little miffed that my 3 year old boiler has failed again, but wasn't in any way rude to him personally, didn't swear, didn't raise my voice. The guy was super defensive, as soon as I mentioned that it had broken previously with a common fault he lost the plot and started taunting me and shouting at me down the phone before hanging up. Truly incredibly bad.
