What an absolute buzz of a weekend. Helvellyn and Striding Edge on Saturday with James and Blencathra and Sharp Edge on Sunday with Matt. I have wanted to push myself by doing these walks for ages but a) didn't have the confidence and b) couldn't get anyone to do them with me Having followed LMG for a long time on Facebook I asked for these walks for Christmas and they were the best present ever. James and Matt were brilliant guides; experienced, knowledgeable, funny and really easy to get along with. Both really put me at ease and were so encouraging when nerves started to kick in. Walking in a group of like minded strangers was extremely enjoyable and a lot of fun. I left these walks stronger, more confident and with a massive sense of achievement thanks to James' and Matt's patience, compassion and humour. LMG are also environmentally ethical which is a massive bonus. Highly recommended and I will definitely be coming back for more

Great experience up Helvellyn and striding edge . Great leader and confidence building for someone with a bit of a fear of heights and not the best navigation skills ! He also took some belting pictures love that ! Already booked on out next adventure

I had a thoroughly enjoyable weekend with LMG in the Northern Fells upskilling on navigating, scrambling, and general mountaineering principals. The routes we did were interesting and challenging. Matt (the guide) is friendly, engaging, and able to draw on a depth of mountaineering experience. I would highly recommend a mountain skills course with LMG to anyone, and will look to attend another course in the future.

A belated huge thank you to Carol for a truly fabulous day in the fells in August 2022. We loved our (slightly modified) route, summiting the Pike, and being off the tourist trail, the highlight for us all was definitely the scrambling, the children made light work of it! So cool to have a quick whizz up Lingmell too. Carol was brilliant with her mountain guiding skills and was very patient and kind to us all, she made our day truly memorable and so much fun. Now looking forward to our next adventures with LMG!
