Went in twice and asked simple question on glasses. The staff are very rude for absolutely no reason. Asked the oriental woman question where are the mens designer frames. Very rude no interest in helping. No time for you. Better go elsewhere. Surprised they sell anything!

Boots Merryhill what can i say, if you are elderly, not online because you are elderly, suffer mobility and want to call them to make an appointment or collect your glasses, dont bother they dont answer the phone, its volume is turned down you can hardly hear it in the shop, when you ask why they say they don't have a receptionist. Utter nonsense, answer the phone, its the elderly calling and help them out, a totally selfish uncaring attitude, from a multi national company who only care about profit and nothing else.

Been trying to call the shop for two days. Constantly rings out all times of the day. Impossible to make contact unless you visit the shop

normally get a good service but quite angry after an hour been back at home, we were spoken to like 5 year old and completely not our fault contradicting information. I found the gentleman very rude and needs to go on a customer service course. you don't speak to customer like that even if they are in the wrong which we wasn't, he needs to take a leaf out of the younger staff. member staff.

Although not a patient here, optician saw me at short notice as I had been having an issue with my right eye for around 10 days. My own optician couldn't see me for several days and another optician had mis-diagnosed my condition following me sending them photographs followed by a telephone consultation. The optician at Boots (Aman Bains) was simply excellent. She thoroughly examined the eye, diagnosed the issue and carried out a small procedure there and then. This was followed by a further appointment 2 days later to ensure all was well with my eye, which thankfully it was. Brilliant service, very much appreciated.
