MODERN CLASSICS RESTORATIONS

Ive just had my Mk1 Golf GTI resprayed by Mike. I had previously looked at some of his work and was vey impressed by the quality and finish. I wanted my car to be that standard but my car was a good 10 years older!! The progress was slow to start and it ended up with a lot more work needed than I think we both thought. Never the less Id received messages daily on progress updates good, bad and the ugly!! Before I get on to the finish what is really impressive was mikes comms. Good would be pictures and the bad was always a chat or visit so I was included on the action needed. I always knew where I was and although stressed at times Mike would reassure me. The finished car was amazing, it was delivered back to my house where I could just keep staring it until I build up courage to drive it again!! I have just been to my first show and shine at the Santa Pod Gti festival and I can in the top 20!! To me this just reinforced the great work that has been done!! If you want work completed thats second to none give Modern Classic Restorations a shout and you wont be disappointed!!

After spending many hours and money myself doing a nut and bolt restoration on my Rover Tomcat I was left with the desision of who to do the rest of the bodywork. All I can say is I made the right choice. I'm a very happy man over the moon. . I can't fault the work and effort that's gone into this, attention to detail is second to none.
